A prompt describes the result you want. Give the model a clear task and the details that matter, then refine one aspect at a time after your first result.
Build your request
- Subject: who or what should appear.
- Action and setting: what is happening and where.
- Appearance: style, materials, colors, lighting and mood.
- Composition: shot size, subject placement and background.
- For video: subject motion, camera movement and the sequence of events.
- For text: purpose, audience, tone and response format.
Make a general idea specific
“Make a beautiful coffee advertisement” leaves many choices open. Be more specific about the product, background, lighting and space for a future headline.
An advertising product photo of a coffee bag against a beige background. Soft side lighting, a few coffee beans nearby, realistic packaging texture. Place the product on the right with empty space on the left for a headline. No added text.
Video example
A coffee bag stands still on a table. The camera slowly moves from left to right as soft sunlight falls across the packaging. One smooth shot with no scene change.
Improve the next attempt
- Remove conflicting instructions, such as asking for a wide shot and a macro shot at the same time.
- When using a reference, explain what to preserve and what to change.
- Change one important condition at a time so you can see its effect.
- Use the model settings for aspect ratio and duration when available.
