Choose a model based on your task and the features you need. Some models accept only a text description; others accept images or video. Their settings also differ.
What to check
- Choose your output type first: text, image, video or an available audio tool.
- Open the model list in that mode and read the descriptions.
- Check supported inputs. Working from a photo requires image support; using a video reference requires video support.
- Compare the available options: aspect ratio, resolution, duration, sound and any other settings shown in the interface.
- Check subscription requirements and the price for your selected settings. If a model is unavailable, choose another or review the applicable plan.
Compare results
Use one short prompt and the same references wherever supported. Start with a small trial, then compare composition, detail and how closely the result follows your task. For video, also assess motion and consistency of objects.
If a setting is missing, choose a model that supports it rather than treating a sentence in the prompt as a technical switch. A text instruction does not replace a duration or resolution setting.
